buying park passes in advance?

I see the great deal the 2 park unlimited 7 day pass is available, and of course, I want it! So do I have to buy it on the internet in advance or can I buy it at the Hard Rock Hotel or the Wilderness Lodge when we arrive?

Normally I don't mind buying in advance, but I have 2 small kids and a terminally ill grandmother, so our vacation plans could change at the last minute and I'd hate to be stuck with tickets I won't use so I'd like to buy them as close to our trip as possible.

Just one note, the Hard Rock Hotel is at Universal, but Wilderness Lodge is at Disney.

I copied the info below from the Universal site. Apparently, you can buy them online when you get there and pick them up (at least that's what it sounds like to me). However, they may not still have this deal when you get there (and it's a very good deal).

I also didn't find anything that said anything about expiration dates, so you may be able to buy them now and use them whenever you get around to it (you can call and ask them).


Electronic Pickup

- What is Electronic Pickup?

Electronic Pickup is a way to collect your tickets upon arrival to the front gate of either Universal Studios Florida OR Islands of Adventure. In front of both parks - near the ticket sales booths - are a number of electronic ticketing machines. These machines, which look similar to ATMs, can be used to pick up certain theme park tickets purchased online, such as the 2 Day/2 Park Ticket and the 1 Day/1 Park ticket.

To see if the ticket you wish to purchase is available for electronic pick up, please check the Delivery Options page.

- When will my tickets be ready for pick up at the Electronic Ticketing Machines?

Once you purchase your tickets online you will be able to pick them up at any of the electronic ticketing machines in front of both Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure immediately after you have purchased your tickets and received your email confirmation.

yes you can, just make sure you print out the confirmation code. you can then walk right over to the e-ticket kiosks and print out your passes. no certain days in advance does it have to be done.

I know that, I meant can I buy the tickets on the internet when we are at the WL a few days before we will go to the Hard Rock (or perhaps at a ticket sales desk somewhere around) or could we buy the tickets at the Hard Rock Hotel (again ticket sales desk or perhaps internet access).

Will be staying first at the WL and doing Disney then at the Hard Rock and doing Universal. Sorry if that was a confusing statement!

very true! The tickets havent been this cheap in almost 4 years!! when is your vacation?
