Buying park hopper from concierge

I have heard that you can add park hopper to your tickets via the resort concierge. The question I have is, if I only want 1 day of park hopper on the last park day can I go the the concierge the previous day and add park hopper and just pay for the 1 day? Or would I have to buy it for ALL my ticket days? Thanks!

The park hopper cost is contingent on length of ticket, so it doesn't matter how many days you actually use it, you are still paying the same price for hopping privileges.

You can't pay for hoppers by the day. There's a 1-3 day price of $60 + tax, or 4+ of $75 + tax. Whether you buy it today, day 1 in the parks or your last day in the parks, the price is the same and depends on the length of the original ticket.

The cost of hopping is based on the 7 day ticket, not how many days are used vs. remaining.

The hopper add-on is a flat fee, regardless of how many times you use it. If you know you're going to get it, it makes more sense money-maker to add it as soon as you arrive, so you have the option to use it throughout your trip.

My logic: pay $75 at the end of your trip for a hopper, use it once, and it costs $75 "per hop". Buy it at the beginning of your trip, use it three times, the "cost per hop" goes down to $25 per hop. And so on and so on. The more you use it, the more cost effective it becomes. If you only use it once, it's freaking expensive!

Yes you can go to the "concierge" area and they can upgrade your ticket if it doesn't need an over ride. So if it is bought direct through Disney they should be able to do it no problem. Just know how much it should cost so you know if it is right or not.

No the system is designed to not let you do that. The only way you can do that is if you buy a 1 day ticket in addition to your other tickets and that would be wasteful since it would cost about 100 bucks or more.

Tickets can be upgraded at WDW resort Concierge desks, but the Concierge can't do anything related to APs.
