buying pal mickey

Can I buy a pal mickey at Disney store or order one to be sent home? My DD's birthday is coming and would like her to have it before we go to Disney. How much is it? $60?

They were $60.00 when I bought ours. You can't buy them from the Disney Store. There are usually some new ones on Ebay, I was going to order one for my niece. Maybe someone else would know if you could order one directly from Disney?

There is a # somewhere for Disney merchandising that you can order anything from the parks. Maybe you can do a search for it and call and order it. I think it would be great to get it ahead of time, and learn how to play with it a little. We sort of had to learn as we went.

Okay, I just called to order - it was $56.33 + $10.95 for a total of $67.33 - I guess we don't pay the tax out of state. She said it would be here in 10-20 days.

I ordered mine directly from WDW, via the phone number above.
It was shipped, and arrived.
But I have a lot of trouble with him.

I have heard of others having trouble with him, after having him packed in luggage.

I don't think that He is very durable, and I am not sure that the stress of being shipped is good for him.

I have also heard, that once I am in WDW, they will replace his insides for me, leaving me with a Mickey that works correctly.

I wanted mine ahead of time, so I could make him the needed wardrobe.
So as long as they really give him new insides, when I get to WDW, I will still be glad I ordered him ahead.
