I'm purchasing our tickets today for our stay the last week in March (gotta be ready to get our FP+s). We're getting a 7 day base ticket. Anyone have recs on the best place to get them right now? There is usually a buy # days, get # free deal somewhere. We currently have just a room only reservation.

Some in our party bought tickets yesterday. Boardwalk Ticketing had the best price.

Sam's travel or if you have ticketsatwork. That's the best deal I have found.

I have used Boardwalk Ticketing in the past, as it is usually the lowest price of any of the authorized non-Disney vendors.

As I keep track of these things, I would not say “usually.” It would more accurately be “sometimes” they have the best deal.
The deals can change all the time, and the lowest price for X kind of ticket can jockey between a few of the top discounters. You should check the suggested touringplans.com price comparison site when you’re ready to buy.
Sometimes ticketsatwork can have a good deal, but it is not always the lowest, either.
It can, of course, also depend on which kind of ticket that you want to buy.

That is a good point, I should have said that both times I bought from non Disney vendors in the past couple years, they have been the cheapest.

Looking to buy tickets for our summer trip before the expected increase hits in Feb or March.

I'm a Touring Plans subscriber and they recommend 3 different places - Boardwalk being the best deal by a few bucks.

But I'm nervous - I've always bought from Disney before (this is I think our ninth trip). I've been checking out reviews of Boardwalk Ticketing and I've not read anything bad. The savings for us would be $50 each (6 day hopper). Nothing to sneeze at.

So Boardwalk and the other sites that Touring Plans recommends are all safe?

I also looked into boardwalk for tickets but the fine print had me worried. It said u needed to visit guest relations. So I didn't know if they linked to mde or not .

Undercover Tourist has a 4 day with 2 extra (6 day total), but it is only $7 cheaper than their 7 day pass. I find that they're usually slightly cheaper than buying direct from Disney if you are purchasing more than 4 days.
Sam's has always been more expensive than Disney, once the taxes and fees are added. However, you can buy their discounted gift cards and the pay for the tickets direct from Disney. A good way to discount the price and have peace of mind, if you're worried about buying elsewhere!

Boardwalk ticketing says they email the code(s) so you can link to MDE right away. Then you get a mailing (I assume physical tickets) in 2 weeks. If your trip is sooner you can pick them up (I guess that's the guest relations note)

A search on disboards seems to indicate they are safe.

It's funny / sad how I'm considering overpaying through Disney out of paranoia

Well done, Disney!

I did purchase through Disney outta paranoia. And also the possibility of getting a refund if something goes wrong.
