Buying on the Internet on Friday

Does anyone have experience ordering on the Internet the Fri after TG? A friend told me that some of the best deals are found from stores that have Internet shopping.
Is there a time that the sales usually start? Any advise??

There was a story about that on the news. They said this year lots of retailers were only going to offer the door buster pricing only to those who come in to the store and get it.
