Buying MNSSHP Tickets

Hello!

I need to buy 7 tickets for the family to join the MNSSHP!

I have the My Disney experience app. I think I have everyone linked correctly for the reservations etc.

So what I need to know is: If I buy 7 tickets myself, will they all attach to my Magic band? Now I will pay for the tickets separately. ie brother and his gf will have 1 credit card, me and my brood 1 credit card, Mum has her credit card.

I assume this means I have to buy them all separately?

If I buy them on the phone, does that mean we will get a hard ticket to enter rather than having them linked on the band? I think I would rather that if that is an option, I just don't want issues getting into the park at 4pm ...and I don't trust the magic bands (out of the fact that they are different than what I am used to, no other reason. Fear the unknown I guess! LOL)

Anyway, what happens? how do I do this?

If you buy the ticket yourself, you personally have to go pick them up. (Or get them mailed to you.) Yes you have to pay for it separately. Hard ticket items have nothing to do with the magic band, you still need to get the ticket, buying from phone or otherwise.

I recently purchased tickets too. During the online checkout you can pick your delivery. They can be mailed or a will call at the park. I don't even think I have the option to link them to my Magic Band. But we just received the tickets in the mail a few days ago.

Can't wait to go!!!!!

Being in Canada, I wonder if I can have them mailed to me? Probably quite costly...

Once we have the hard ticket in hand, do we need to switch them over before going? Or just show the ticket at 4 to get in?

No idea on cost to ship to canada, in the US it's free unless you need it expedited. But they're like credit cards, so I wouldn't imagine much. Either way, you can just pick it up at Will Call.

MNSSHP is a "hard" ticket event (sorry if this is repeated). There's a physical ticket. Because of that I don't believe its attached to your Magic Band. Since they clear the MK by 7pm the night of the event, its easier, from what I've heard to know who should be in the park for the party with a "special" ticket..........Disney wants it to be visual for quick identification.

I just purchased my tickets tonight for Sept 16th. My sweetie and I are very excited!!!!

They are linked to my MDE and show up on there.

I had to assign each ticket to one of my party members.

It also gave me the option to print my tickets on my computer (which I did) so I already have the "hard" ticket in my hands for each member of my party.

Last time we went, really enjoyed this special event. My wife went to all the parades while me and my boys rode ride after ride with barely any wait.

I definately like the print on your own option. That way, if you lose your ticket, you can just go back in and re-print.
