Buying MNSSHP tickets onsite/sell out?

Can't quite believe how close our trip is now!

Finally everything is coming together, however I am still yet to book our MNSSHP tickets. I've changed most of our spare cash up into dollars now and have just realised I still have a few bits and bobs to get out of my final weeks wages before we go and I was planning on using this for the tickets.

Would it be daft to wait and buy tickets when we get there? How likely is it that it would sell out? I wish there was something to indicate the availabilty online!

The party we wanted to go to is Tuesday 23rd September, is it likely that we'd been able to buy these even on the day? Our first day at WDW is a few days before so could even get them then.

Doubtful that September dates will sell out. We have bought our tickets but that's cuz we wanted 28th october and 31st is already sold out.

In the past we have bought them a few days before from guest services, I think from Hollywood Studios. Still got the discount as bought before the actual date. We last went in 2006 on 28th Oct and it wasn't sold out but i'm told due to the economy picking up that it maybe sold out nearer the time.

I'm pretty confident they wont sell out.

Last year we went in September and we booked tickets online before we went. Whilst we were there during the party we decided to fit another MNSSHP in and had no trouble getting tickets for another night. It sounds like your going at a similar time so I wouldn't worry too much.
