Buying Maxpass daily?

I know I should probably read up on this in another thread or something, but how many FP can you hold at once doing this?
As many as you can get. You can only get 1 every 90 minutes and you can't hold 2 for the same time frame or 2 fastpasses for the same ride. Other than that, load up.

This came up in another thread - unless they've changed it since November, we could get them as soon as the FP window opened. So, one day we got HM at like 8:45 for 9:00, star tours at 9 for 9:05, SM at 9:05 for 9:15, etc. It was crazy, we were eligible for one every 5-10 minutes. Of course that was only if FP was available almost immediately.

It’s worth noting that there is a 30 minute minimum unless you scan the FP. So if you use that Star Tours one at 9:05, you can grab a new one immediately. But if you’re on the other side of the park and not going to use it until closer to 10, you have to wait until 9:30.

We just spent 4 days there and I thought we’d be able to book another Fastpasses once we scanned in for our current (immediate) Fastpasses. Often, we had to wait until we were off the ride completely. And I’m talking open air rides where signals aren’t an issue. So just be prepared when using immediate Fastpasses you still “might” have to wait another 10 minutes or so before booking another Fastpasses. Still very efficient.

Some rides you have to wait until after the second scan point before you can book the next FP. Did you try that?

Ok. So this is odd to me. On Thursday we had MP for three of our APs. The time listed on my app for our next FP was 30 minutes after I had requested them. However someone got in line behind us and said they were already able to pull a new pass. I said something about the 30 min wait listed on my app and they said they had pulled the FP about 7 mins ago but were able to book a new one already.
We were not able to .

Well, I haven't been to the parks for almost two weeks (we were on a Disney cruise last week instead!), but what has consistently been true from last fall through that trip is that when you book a FP for less than 30 minutes away, it will show you that there's 30 minutes until you book the next one. But if you scan in, you can book a new one earlier than that.

For instance, two weeks ago, we booked a BTMR FP at about 9:00 that we were able to use immediately - while the app had told me that the "next FP would be available at 9:30," in reality, I booked it, scanned it in, and then booked the next one while in line, like 9:05 or so.

I have noticed that sometimes you have to scan twice before it lets you book a new one (Space comes to mind), but I haven't personally had to wait until after the ride like a PP noted. Perhaps there is sometimes a lag in the system that causes that.

We use Maxpass pretty much weekly, as my daughter is obsessed with thrill rides, so I have a pretty large sample size.

If I have nine people in my family and I head in to the park, can I buy nine super fast as we’re booking to a ride.

Maxpass is $10 per person, per day.

The FP system works as it did before if you don’t have Maxpass (the only difference is that the paper that comes out of the machine is a “reminder” and you scan your park ticket to redeem the FP). So, no, nothing is “crazy” without Maxpass, but Maxpass is a great convenience that makes it much more possible to get a lot done.

So it's basically a fastpass machine you can take with you anywhere? Thus, the convenience?

I was able to add everyone to a group and buy them all at once last time I used it. Pre-scan the tickets in to the app before you go in the park!

For us, if we book one at 855a for 9am, it will say we can get the next one at 925a, BUT as soon as it is scanned (at both scanners for those areas using 2 scanners) we can get the next one.
