Buying $ILL between 4-6pm if we have MVMCP tix

Hi all,

We are heading to MVMCP, and understand we can enter at 4pm. Tix are loaded up in MDE. Will I be able to buy $ILL in MK if I don't have a reservation but have MVMCP tix for that day.

This is what I want to know too (I asked in another thread).

If I am going to DHS AH (a ticketed event similar to MVPCP) where I am allowed in the park at 7:00 (normal park close at 9:00) what would happen if I also had a park reservation for that day by having a normal day base ticket attached to my account (that I do not plan on using that day). Could I then buy an ILL$ for RotR at 7:00AM, enter the park at 7:00pm using only my After Hours ticket, and use the ILL$?

What I would be afraid of is 1) the ILL$ will not work once getting to the ride because the system does not recognize me as being in the park because I never tapped in to the park and used my normal day base ticket or 2) I am able to use the ILL$ but when I do tap into the ride, somehow my normal day base ticket somehow gets used.

Would love to hear if anyone has tried this with any other ticketed events

You cannot, but you won't need it. I'm assuming you are referring to 7DMT since that is the only $ILL currently at MK. The waits for this ride rarely go above 30 minutes at the parties so you can easily ride it then.

Agree with this statement. If you wait till after the fireworks the wait drops even more. We were able to pretty much walk on during the Halloween party around 11pm

And we would have practically walked onto 7DMT at around 6:00 once when going to MNSSHP had we not gotten involved playing the standby queue games.

Had no idea those were such fun, having always used FPs before that.

I went to MNSSHP two weeks ago and I was able to purchase the ILL for SDMT without a park reservation. Just woke up at 7 and did it. Not sure why others are saying you can’t. I also bought Genie+ for the day and started stacking rides starting at park open. We got in at 4 and hit up Buzz, Space, Tea Cups, SDMT, Philharmagic, and HM all before the party started. We had little kids with us so I knew we’d be heading home after the fireworks. Had dinner at 6:25 at Skippers. Walked on Pirates (we were all dressed as pirates) and grabbed space for the parade. Amazing party day and night! Have fun!!
