Buying Disney Tickets at Gate?

After all the Virgin debacle, had a look at the Disney site for tickets direct with them... The UK options all seemed a bit limiting so visited the US site and unless I'm missing something drastic, the building your own ticket option seems to work out cheaper then buying a 5/7 day premium ticket here?

Can I assume the prices on teh US site are the same as the gate prices at Disney?

Not sure about the answer to that question - probably not as gate prices are usually more than tickets purchased in advance.

However, if you are considering going with the MYW option, I would seriously consider buying from a ticket agent such as Undercover Tourist as they will be cheaper still and if you sign up for the newsletter at www.mousesavers.com you can normally get an additional discount also.

Thanks.

Have looked on there just now and doesn't appear to be any worthwhile savings, maybe just a few $$$'s?

I guess if you count that tax and shipping are included the savings may be slightly improved? Will check out mousesavers thanks!

In the past have only ever bought once out there so am just weighing up. Would prefer not to spend out right now if I could too - not travelling until September but likewise don't want to miss out on a bargain!

Another good site for getting the "Magic Your Way" tickets is www.dwtickets.com.

We used them on our last visit, and picked the tickets up from their offices in Lake Buena Vista, just outside of Disney property. I'm definitely using them again for this year.
