Buying Disney gift cards with Target Red Card

Do you get the 5% discount off of these, too? We're going on a cruise in a few weeks and am thinking about using the cash I have stashed away for the cruise to buy GCs, especially if I can get a discount. 5% isn't much, but it adds up!

ok....the answer to your question is yes....but to do better...order your scripts from target pharmacy...get the extra 5 percent coupon...then you get 10 percent off....some even wait and layer the chistmas time coupons to do even better and receive target gift cards back at the register to use for even more disney gift cards at the register. at a min. I always buy in bulk with my 10 percent off....just a few days ago i bought $3300 in gift cards for an out the door price of less than $3000.....I am doing this over a period of months to save 10 percent on my disney vacations, cruises, dvc dues, and APs and to use while at disney. be careful to hang onto all cards until after trip is completed in case there is a refund issue.

I am not sure if you do, but, actually, I have really only bought Target gift cards at Target, and didn't get a discount (of course). We have also purchased on-line game credits, and didn't get a discount on those, either. We have purchased Disney gift cards through our son's school, because then we would get a 5% credit toward his tuition (he went to parochial school, but has since graduated, so, we don't need the tuition credit any more). I'll have to try it and see.

I just did this too! I looked up my credit limit & backed out the 10% & bought away!

Sadly, in NJ, it's against the law for them to give you a "discount" when you purchase drugs. Consequently, all we end up with here is the 5%.
