That is a view from the loungers on a terrace though

We do intend to use some of the points at Aulani every 2-3 years, but in an OV 1BR and not at NYE.

I thought I was done buying AUL. But this view in a one-bedroom ruined DH. He said now this is a view. All other views at WDW and DLR are just a room I said I would never do laundry on vacation but the ability to quickly wash swim suits, rash guards, etc instead of rinsing by hand nightly was a godsend! So I am looking for AUL contracts again

Fortunately, something like 20-25 contracts hit the resale market today….check the aggregator sites!

Fantastic view. I love those inner V Ocean View rooms. You also get the music from the Olelo room on your balcony at night and can easily pop down in the morning for some malassadas. Odds are that you may bump into Moana or Pluto on your way!

In Oct a 1BD OV is 46-50 points a night. At $12pp ish resale, that’s $552 to $600 (add your own TVM, NPV, or whatever else you want).

I think $552 to $600 for a 1BD OV villa is pretty darn good.

Two upgraded views in DVC stand out above all the rest... Aulani Ocean and Animal Kingdom Savanna.

I think Boardwalk view is extremely charming—but I think the Aulani and AK views make more sense because you’re more likely in your room enjoying them…typically if I’m staying at crescent lake, I’m not spending much time chilling in my balcony. Either parks, sleep, or resort pools.
