Hello all!

We are planning two trips to Disneyland this year so thought the Francilien AP would save us money.

My French is very rusty though!

It looks like if I get an adult AP then I'll get a free one for under 7s, is that right?

Also I assume an AP would run from say June 2008 - June 2009 as opposed to ending on 1st Jan.

I believe you can only get the free child offer in person, and the Francilien may not be suitable for your needs since it has to be activated the first day at the parks then can't be used for Day 2 & 3. However if you are going twice you'll still save money by buying the Fantasy pass on your first day, especially given the free child offer before November. Do check the Fantasy pass blackout days though to make sure they aren't days you want.

Cathy is right, you do have to be there in person for the child free offer (just been through this myself). I'd consider getting the fantasy/dream pass as well, because of the discounts, e.g., shops, restaurants, and (most importantly) acomodation and the extra days that are available.

I've called them a couple of times this week. Just said Bonjour, and told them I was calling from the UK. They immediately handed me over to someone who spoke good English, and were extremely helpful. They will help you work out the best deal for you.

Cheers, Mark

Does anyone have any info on how busy the AP office is for buying AP's before going into the Park ?

You buy a temporary AP at Guest Relations before going into the park, the AP office is inside the park beside the entrance to Discoveryland. When we went, on a Saturday afternoon, the Guest Relations queue was fairly horrible since all the other windows for ticket buying were closed by that time. In the morning it wouldn't be so bad. The AP office had no queue at all then but can get busy.

Sometimes if the AP office is busy they operate a waiting system so you are given a time to call back at in order to pick up your pass.
