buying Annual Passes

I looked for a thread on this. I couldn't find what I was looking for. So I hope someone can help. I am a FL resident. My husband is military. We will be going to WDW March 27-Apr3. From looking at everything it seems the Annual Pass is the way to go for us. It will be a family of 6- 2 adults, 1 7yr old, twins that are 2, and a 1 yr old.

My question is this. I just went back on the Disney website tonight. The FL annual Pass is now I think $315 and $260 something for the child. Before they JUST changed the website you could see prices if you bought at the gate, or online. It's a pain in the rear now that they changed it. I hate it.

I am waiting for the military prices to see how much better it is. Again, I got away with my question.........Is there places where you can get a reg, fl annual pass cheaper?

Since a family member is active miltary - my suggestion to you is to look up (ie google) the Shades of Green Army cooperative hotel that is on Disney property - by the Poly. Give them a call and discuss the ticket prices. I would (and have) bought the passes your choose from them.

Basically you save the taxes - but any little bit helps.

Shades of Green also sells 'tickets' to other orlando businesses.

We just bought annual passes on December 26th because the Seasonal passes are not in effect when we are going in March (18th - 20th) and they were 318 per adult and 260 per child. Probably a little cheaper at AAA stores, but since we standing at Epcot with a 3 year old who knew we were going to Disney that day, we couldn't do anything else.

The other advantage to buying at SoG is that there is no sales tax I believe (doing from memory).
