buying annual passes 13 months price of 12

I called to buy our annual passes before the deadline of Jan 3

according to DVC website it was supposed to be open from 9-3

so I go through all the numerous prompts only to be told to call back during normal business hrs

I thought I was

also in order to get the 13 months since we are DVC I have to go through them to get the tickets right

Ive tried to do it on line on the disney website but it just keeps taking me in circles

MS is suppose to close at 3:00 PM EST today and will not reopen until Monday, January 2, 2017.

They should be open now. Did you hit an incorrect prompt say for accounting or member administration or something that wouldn't be open today? You want option 1.

I called 1200 CST which would only be 1 pm FL and after all the prompts it says to call back durning normal business hrs--I called before 3 FL

oh well but you say they will be open on Mon the 2nd--I will call back then

I just purchased a couple of passes after having no luck trying to buy them online. The MS CM had difficulty as well but the transaction did finally complete. You still have 10 minutes! Good luck!

I called around 1:30pm today and bought my AP and added my friend to our reservation for this fall. When I originally booked it, I only booked myself because I was trying to snag a value studio at AKV for 5 nights in the middle of October. I kept forgetting to add her to the reservation so I figured that I would do it all in one call. I'm so excited because I used my $600 Disney gift card that I bought with the Target gift cards purchased on the 10% off day. I got an AP and I still have $15 left on the gift card...all for $540 OOP.

Was the 13th month promotion extended? I missed the deadline due to business travel and ended up two weeks late after the Jan. 3rd date but still my AP linked to my profile indicates valid for 13 months. I'm not complaining but didn't expect this!

Did you renew? Renewals get 13 months until October.

I did renew - I didn't realize renewals received 13 months til Oct. That's great! My family is on a different AP cycle than I am due to my biz travels to Orlando & they'll be renewing in April. Nice to know we'll all have 13 months.

I bought parkhoppers for my adult kids for our March trip. I just recently was thinking of upgrading to AP'S while there but they will expire one year from date of first use correct? I was hoping to do another family trip but it would have to be the same week next year.

If you upgrade a partially used MYW ticket to an AP, the expiration date will be based on the date the MYW was first used.
If you upgrade an unused MYW ticket to an AP, the expiration date will be based on the date of the transaction.
