Buying an AP

Post edited: I got my original answer, but is there a way to buy my AP online using a gift card for the full amount? I can't find that option on the Disneyland website, and I've reached out via Twitter and FB to them with no response. I have a gift card for the full amount.

You can purchase your voucher online now and activate it the first day of your trip.

Hmm. It doesn't seem to accept Disney Gift cards as a payment method on the website, and that's how I planned to pay. Do you know any way to pay with gift cards?

I think you can use only one gift card to pay online. If you have more than one, I've read reports that people called Disney to have all the cards transferred onto one card. Otherwise, I would buy your AP at the ticket booths (no limits on gift cards there) the night before your park visit. At least one ticket booth stays open until one hour after park closing.

I have them all combined on one gift card, however there is no option to use a gift card for payment.

Can you use your gift card to buy AP vouchers at your local Disney Store?

Tip:...The AP's are active on the first day you use them, but confirm the expiration date or must be activated by date on whatever voucher you are purchasing. Usually not an issue until the end of the year but there have been cases that people bough vouchers in advance and did not look at the expiration date.

Based on another thread, it sounds like you have to call to purchase an AP if you want to pay with a gift card.
