Buying an AP - What is the best ticket to buy now.

Planning to upgrade a ticket I am purchasing off of undercovertourist.com.

An annual pass cost $611, so should I buy the 8 day park hopper (no expiraton), use it once and then upgrade it to maximize my savings? This would be $37 savings.

I *think* the 8 day non-expiration hopper is the best ticket to purchase to upgrade to an annual pass. Savings of $37. I hope i am right.
