Been going round and round in my head which ticket to buy for my October trip and I've decided to go with the Dream pass. And this is especially true if I can get it with the 15% off...

While I'm not a Shareholder I am related to one and reside in the same place as one so if I was going to DLP with him we would get the discount no worries. I've read the rules of the Shareholder discount with tickets...and under those rules I am eligible for a discount.

This Annual Passport discount is limited to Shareholders Club members and their families only (living at the same home address) and only for five Annual Passports per member per year. Cannot be combined with any other promotional or special offers. Can only be combined with the family discount (for a single family, same address, in compliance with the general conditions of Annual Passports Brochure) on Fantasy and Dream Passports. Excludes sponsorship offers.

HOWEVER...he will not be with me so can I just show the card, and my ID and get the discount? :confused3

If not. Any chance of a Flash sale on fnatickets? or any other sites likely?
I've been trying to keep an eye out but not seen anything

Thanks
:flower3:

The shareholder has to be there with you for you to get the discount unless it's changed very very recently

The discount makes your AP at 169.15€ which is cheaper than CEM at 179€ or Promparcs at 173€

For the moment there isn't any offers on AP's on the other sites, I've seen day tickets and hotel stays but I keep looking and will post if I spot any :)

Who are CEM or Promparcs???

Are you saying I can get the pass for those prices NOW??

There is no chance of the shareholder being with me...so if that's the case I can't get it

Cemultiavantages and Promoparcs are two French companys that have started selling to the general public here and abroad their tickets, AP's and all manner of discounted events

You pay a annual fee - 20€ for CEM and 14€ for PPs and you can then buy a discounted AP

Even though CEM is a little dearer they have a better reputation here in France but some of this forum and other forums have used them without any bother

You join first, they send you a password and then you buy your AP's that they send by post

You have 6 months to transform the ticket that they will send you into a laminated AP at DLP :)

If I'm looking on the right site it is currently 159Euros...

I have clicked on the English flag but everything is still on French and google translate doesn't seem to translate anything.
Is this completely legitimate? Are there any issues I should be aware of buying through this website?

Thanks in advance :)

We were posting at the same time ;) You've got the 14€ jining fee to add on

It is all in French but very straightforward. I'm more familiar with CEM as more people go with them but I can guide you through it with PP if you like

Thank you.

When I did my initial goggle search there was some forum it came up with where people had successfully ordered without joining and processed the emailed "ticket" at the parks. Which added to my confusion. :rolleyes1 My French isn't good enough to try and play that game :lmao:

I don't really mind which one as long as it is legitimate and easy to do.
My French is non existent :teeth:

PP had a loophole for a while where anyone who wasn't looking at it in FRench could avoid paying the 14€ but they seem to have caught it.

They also stopped sending them out in pdf as well

Give me a couple of minutes and I'll get you the procedure up for cem and I'll have to do a dummy run for PP

CEM does seem a bit easier to negotiate so I think I'll go with that. For the sake of $5 ...

I've also looked at this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2953607 which is a great help.

One more question on the postage options I'll have? Will they physically mail something or email? Just wondering what options I'll be given before I go through the process. I note you mention Aussies ordering but I'd prefer to have electronic options.

I'll do it in the morning when I'm slightly more awake (currently 10pm here in Oz).

Thanks very much!! Appreciate your help very much
Can put the money saved back into a meal at Inventions. Wish they'd stop putting the price up!!!

Ok good you've found the post where I last put it up :thumbsup2

They will send them out by post for 6,90€, they do in very rare cases send them out by mail if it's last minute or there's a pb but it's not usual and is very dependant on their goodwill.

The post is registed so if it's lost or stolen you've got a come back and it is very fast - people in the UK get theirs within 3 days of sending so if you aren't going before Oct you've got loads of time

You can always contact Alice over there and ask if you really do prefer a mail.

If you get stuck when you try doing it give me a shout otherwise have a great Sunday now as I'm off out for Saturday afternoon :goodvibes

Yep. Looked up that post once I realised what it was referencing.
As you point out I'm not in a rush. Just once you add 6.90 postage the saving dwindles to 13.10...which is frustrating... :(
I don't see why they insist on sending that way.
When you're ordering more than one ticket it's not so bad. My DBF is also a shareholder so he will get his ticket with that discount so I won't get his this way.

What exactly DO they send you? Is it the temporary pass to get in the gate?

Thanks

It's like a park ticket that you'd buy at the gate and it works as the temp AP

I think they send them like that so that people can't copy them and them resell them to people on sites like Craigs list.

DLP get a lot of people tying to pass off e tickets that they bought from these sites without thinking that they were buying a fake ticket :rolleyes2

Contact Alice at CEM and ask her if she'd be willing to send you it by email as a pdf.

Doesn't hurt to try..if not as you've time wait a bit and see if there are any AP that come up in flash sales :)
