Buying an Annual Pass

We ordered our AP's from Disney over the phone in July 2002 for our September 2002 vacation and activated them at the MK. My mother is going to buy an AP for our upcoming stay in May. I read on Deb's that you can buy an activated AP at any of the theme park ticket windows. Have you done this? I'm wondering if she will be able to use her Disney Club discount if she buys it at the window. Thank you!

You can buy an activated pass at any of the theme park windows, guest relations at Downtown Disney and I believe the Disney Stores at the Orlando Airport. They do give Disney Club discount for AP's.

I bought my AP at the guest service window at the Magic Kingdom on my last trip. It was very easy and took about 15 minutes. Make sure that you read the back of your pass very carefully to confirm that all of the information is accurate, especially the date.

Do you know what time ticket windows at theme parks open? Is it an hour prior to the park opening?

I believe it's 1 hour prior to park opening. I've read that the window at EPCOT is usually much shorter than at other parks.
