buying additional tickets

We are going to WDW for the first time in 45 days!!! A couple of family members who live in Florida are going to come visit us for a day. We are staying on site and have a vacation package. If I want to buy two additional tickets for the visiting family members, do I have to pay full price or can I find discounted ones?

There is not much of a discount you can get on one day tickets. However, they may be able to get some kind of resident discount. I am not sure about that, but they would have to purchase the tickets, need to prove that they are Florida residents

I dont think you can get discounted one day passes....However you might can do this .... But I'm not sure if these tickets are transferrable so someone else can tell me if it works....

okay hard to type it out being vague so lets assume 4 in your party. Change your reservation (today because tomorrow you are too late to change without fees) to one day tickets only for all 4 people. Then order 2 tickets from ticketmania with the mousesavers discount for the length you want for yourself. when you get to disney you upgrade 2 of the ones from your package to the proper length. Then you 'sell' the one day tickets left from your package to your relatives when they get there passing on the savings you got on your tickets to them. I know that people with AP's will get the package with one day tickets and save them for the future. I'm just not sure if you can give them to someone else...they aren't really YOURS until you have used them once (which in this case would be the one and only use). I wonder if this could work....
