Buying a Robe? Take Safety Pins

Our daughters bought robes last week in Diagon Alley. They were between XXS and XS sizes. The difference in length between the 2 sizes was about 8 inches. My daughters are about 5' tall. We opted for the XS because the XXS just looked a snug in the shoulders. However the XS dragged the ground.

So, if you have someone buying a robe in that is about 5' tall or maybe shorter but rounder, realize there is a weird gap in sizes from XXS to XS. In regular sizes, it's the issue in going from a kids size into the adult sizes. You will need some safety pins.

Wow, they must have really changed the sizing. DS has an XS if I recall correctly (from a few years ago), he's about 5'3" and it's nearly up to his knees.

One daughter's XS drags very slightly, the other is a smidge taller and her XS barely clears the ground. When you pay $100+, you don't want them messed up after a day of wear. I would have had the one girl buy the XXS, but it just looked sort of silly being so short.
