Buying a Re-Sale - privately

Hello,

We are buying (hopefully) a resale from SSR from a person privately.

Her lawyer has sent in the paperwork and the next thing in the process is to await ROFR.

Who is the person who hears about ROFR? Is it the seller (her) or the buyer (us)?

The seller will be informed of any ROFR decision taken by Disney. DVC has 30 days for the ROFR process. My understanding is that there are times when the period just expires with no action from Disney (meaning that ROFR has been waived)- so your seller may need to follow up if nothing has been heard.
