Buying a 1 day ticket - in advance - Why should I?

Background:

• Been to WDW numerous times with kids - They were CPer's too!
• Daughter in college in FL - Can only afford 1 full day off during spring break (Senior year project)
• Staying at POP 2 nights - purchased through Hotels.com
• Set up MyDisney Experience already!

Question: Since we can only spend 1 day at a park, should we purchase our tickets through myDisney experience in advance? Why?

In order to book FP+ in advance.

If you are staying at a WDW resort, you can book up to 60 days in advance.
If you are not staying at a WDW resort, you can book up to 30 days in advance.
