It seems like a great deal. So I would like to take adavantage but I won't be ther for about 4 years. It saids it doesn't expire but since you don't get the tix till you get there. Will I have problems 4 years (give or take) from now?

You can order and print your tickets right on your own printer. The tickets are emailed to you in PDF format....each page is a ticket with the person's name and a bar code. You can take the printed tickets right to the turnstiles and get into the park.

I'd put the money into a CD or other investment rather than tying it up in a ticket. Then when the CD matures you can use that money to buy the ticket instead of having it tied up in a ticket that you may never use.

But the $86, SEVEN DAY, two park ticket probably won't be available then. It is a special deal they are running right now.

Currently, it is $77 PER DAY for the 2 park ticket...meaning that it would cost $539 PER PERSON for 7 days at the single day price....and that could be even higher in 4 years.

Taking $86 and putting it in a CD would not yield $539 in 4 years....but taking $86 and buying a 7 day ticket will guarantee that you will get into Universal/IOA for a total of $86 @ for 7 consecutive days no matter when you go.

I think once the harry potter part opens, these tickets will go away, at least for awhile. I would go ahead and buy them. I bought mine last time thru dreams unlimited (this site, see ads above). they sent me the actual tickets so I had them in hand, and that made me feel better.

Certainly makes sense. :thumbsup2

They have had this deal off and on for years. We bought a similar type of ticket for our honeymoon in July 2004 and they were within a few dollars of this price. The entertainment industry is cyclical, this or a similar deal will come back in the next 4 years. I would buy it if my trip was 6 months away, but not 4 years.

i would buy it now if you know you will eventually be going to UO.

disney raised their prices wednesday. you know the other parks are going to follow suit then.
when potter goes in to the park, attendance will rise. tickets will be higher 4 years from now.

they have not had this deal before of 7 days for that price.

they have had the 5 day promo deal a few times since 2002.

we all think different.
i go annually but i have the ap now. i was thinking of buying this 7 day promo for one of my sons.

i still have a day ticket from 2002. it will be valid until i use it.

i came back to say i just read a new thread that was posted today.

universal raised their one day tickets by $4 today. no advanced notice to the public..
