you are happy with the price. I had been looking for tickets for months and thought the price out of Lex was just too high so started checking other cities, CVG and SDF and kept an eye on them for months also. Was not thrilled about maybe driving 1 1/2 hrs but. Well SDF had tickets for 125.00 and was still thinking is it really worth the drive finally we said yes it is, at the time thought we were saving about 80.00 a ticket so we got them at 11:30 at night.

Well the next day checked the prices for the heck of it and found that that same flight was now 100.00 more than the night before and Lex had gone up also.

So in short we were happy with paying 125.00 (never flown that cheap) and ended up saving 100.00 a ticket. Boy I am glad we did not wait another hour.

LOL, steph! Your purchase was more than likely the reason the ticket price went up. You probably bought the last few tickets at the "bargain" price.

IMHO, your advice is good. I've learned (the hard way) to buy as soon as I see a reasonable price. Airfares go up as often as they go down. If you watch prices long enough, you do get a pretty good idea of what to expect for your area.

Congrats on getting a good price. Enjoy your trip!
