The pound is falling fast against the Dollar as US Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan says the US economy is growing!

We managed to get our money changed yesterday at 1.57 at co-op travel. My sister went today and could only get 1.54.

Best rate I can find at the moment is 1.533 at Halifax.

I know it is always speculation, but some people may be more 'in the know' than me... For a holiday on 20th Sept, should I buy now as the rates are falling, or wait until nearer the time in the hope the rates will have gone back up?

I also got the same rate as clare from the halifax . I would have thought that if you can still get 1.56 from M & S sebastian jump in now !!
