Yes. Two contracts should be good enough. As a new buyer at least one contract needs to be 100 points. For future resale purposes(if it happened), would i be better off buying smaller contracts? If we.move forward, I would need between 150 to 200 points per year.
Smaller contracts are easier to sell, but they also will cost you more upfront to buy and you have to pay $600-$800 in closing costs for each contract. For future resale purposes(if it happened), would i be better off buying smaller contracts? Yea and sell faster.Small contracts do tend to sell at higher prices per point.
Only if you’re buying direct.Yes. Two contracts should be good enough. As a new buyer at least one contract needs to be 100 points.
Correct. For some reason I assumed OP was saying direct.Only if you’re buying direct.
I think on certain resorts you might as well go direct if you are getting a very small contract.Correct. For some reason I assumed OP was saying direct.
Was leaning towards BLT if that matters and would pay in full.I think on certain resorts you might as well go direct if you are getting a very small contract.
No title insurance needed, points load instantly, often include last year’s points, UY matching, 6m 0% with Disney Visa, etc.
Of course, that only applies to current members.
Really? It's anecdotal but I use dvcforless.com to favorite small contracts for some of the resorts I want (BLT/BCV/BRV) and with the exception of a few they all seem to get sold pretty quickly. My list is constantly churning over.Contracts under 50 are not the easiest to sell, due to closing costs. In terms of maximizing point price and desirability in resale contracts, I'd say 70 to 100 is optimal.
BLT resale is a fantastic deal right now. Low dues, about to get a refurb, desirable location, next to a park that is about to get a ton of money spent on it for new attractions and lands. Was leaning towards BLT if that matters and would pay in full.
I notice the same. 50 points and it's gone almost immediately. Made a handful of offers last week and they all sold for asking price. IRMVReally?
