Buy one pass, get one 50% off?

We are headed to WDW in March 2004, and are looking at getting our passes soon. When we phoned the Disney Store here, they advised us to hold off as long as possible, since they are expecting there to be a "Buy one 5-day hopper, get one 50% off" deal coming soon. They told us it comes up pretty much every spring. Has anyone heard anything this year? We have used Disneyland's deal of get 5 days for the price of 3 for the past couple of years.

We are so excited to be headed to WDW this year after many, many trips to DL. It's a long trip from the west coast but we're ready! Our almost-6-year old spent her last two birthdays in Disneyland, and she is so excited to go to WDW! ("What do you mean I'm not big enough for Rockin' Roller Coaster?")

That's usually the deal that they offer in the Fall, but did not do it this year!

Did they give you any more details, like do they expire?

I think I also heard of something like that happening before, but I cannot remember exactly when. If there are no other promos going on right now I guess it is okay to wait and see and ther is nothing to lose.

You are right that it is a long trip from the West Coast, as we too have been to Disneyland more than Disneyworld, but the 2 previous times we have been to WDW our family just loved it and that is why we are hoping to get back this summer...

was that they are 5-day park hopper plus passes, and I believe they do expire within 1 year. We are going to wait for a while yet to buy passes, in case this deal does arise, but I'm so anxious to have them in my hands!! It was the store manager my husband spoke to, and she advised us to wait, she was sure the deal would be coming up soon. Let's hope!

A little off topic from my original post, but I just wanted to say that I'm so glad to see there are so many others who love Disney as much as we do! Our friends think we're nuts to take so many vacations at a theme park! My almost-6-year old daughter is going to be on her 3rd trip to a Disney park, but for us, it is the best type of vacation!

We are like you tinkerbell6. Our 8 year old has been to Disyland / Disneyworld / Tokyo Disneyland about 8 times... some say ridiculous others just love it. I think I was 23 before I got to any of the Disneys Love it, enjoy it, and share it...best to all that love it as we do

We're also Disney fans. We've been to DL almost every year since 93, with the exception of 95, 97, and 00, when we went to WDW. The only year we missed going to Disney was 99, when our second DD was born. But we more than made up for that when we did DL and WDW back to back in 2000. Our friends laugh at us and roll their eyes when they hear we're going on yet another trip (March 2004) to DL.

Can't wait to plan our WDW trip in 2005!!!

Well, we're even more excited now as it gets closer! The Vancouver Sun today has a flyer for Disneyland that the little one noticed immediately. We're still waiting for the possible pass discount for WDW. Frankly, it doesn't really matter if they go on sale or not since we're buying them no matter what the price, but some extra money for souveniers would be nice! Can't wait to hit that Christmas Disney store!

I think I'm officially a board-a-holic these days!
