Hello wonderful disers! - hope you had super Christmas times!

I need to book/plan my next disney adventure or I may set on fire.

What do you think the best method is to get the cheapest rates?

- book early (now) for something in September
- book late and get a last minute deal?

Will things be cheaper nearer the time? im trying to aim for sept to get free dining :-)

Book early. Currently the free dining offer is on. So make use of it while it's still there

Based on previous years, I would suspect that Disney will offer free dining to the US in the spring. I thing it was around 1 april last year.

If you are willing to go with a package, then you may get a bargin hanging on. For the begining of June, booking in early May with Cosmos, there were some fantastic deals. Three of us could have flown from Manchester starying in a cheap hotel for around 750.00, which was an absolute bargin. So if I had some flexibility with September dates I would wait.

I would book now if you want free dining. Booking with Disney.com can be more expensive for free dining, I found AP rates was a better deal when I booked through Disney.com for september 2008 though there was just 3 of us.

Isn't the free dining offer on until the end of August 2010? It wouldn't make much difference if you booked now or if you booked in June (for example). The advantage with booking now, of course, is the option to pay it off bit by bit.

Thanks guys!

Does anybody know when free dining actualy is - I cant seem to get any solid answers when booking through disneyworld.co.uk - it only seems to give free dining on a mod resort?-looking for AKL :-)

We have booked to go 2nd September - 12th September next year and staying at Saratoga Springs with free dining. We paid £200 deposit (£50 each) with Disneyworld.co.uk and then booked our flights separately with Virgin atlantic. I paid £1600 approx for 4 adults for flights (this was with 2,000 airmiles per person as well) Some people have done the same but havent booked their flights yet.

We stayed this year at AKL with free dining and stayed 24th August - 3rd September but did that through Disneyworld but as a package which was more expensive.

Free dining with the deluxe hotels is for one table service meal and one counter service meal and one snack per day per person. I cant remember what it is exactly with the moderate, but I am sure you dont get the table service free dining. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.
