Ok, I got thru griping about paying $200+ for R/T fares from ROC to MCO in May. The cheapest I could find yesterday was a connecting flight to MCO and a morning N/S from MCO for $207.

This morning the rates have dropped to $197, the flights are both NS and are at a better time. You would think I would be booking them right now, but no, I am sitting here thinking--what if they go lower? what if the schedule changes and I am stuck with tixs for a bad flight time? what if, what if, what if???

Does anyone think the fares might go even lower? The airline is AirTran and I haven't flown with them before but have heard that they have decent flights and most people said they were fine.

Any input from you guys on this?

Prices may drop, but along with that come cutbacks like flights being canceled and changes, changes, changes in existing flight times. I personally would rather pay a little more and get flight times that are good for us. There is always the bad with the good when it comes to airline pricing decreases! I for one hope this war with Iraq doesn't send the airlines into another 9/11 major setback. :(

DUH! I got so excited about seeing another flight on the schedule and didn't even look closely at the times. It is a 6:xx PM flight NS not a 6am flight-duh!!!

Guess I won't be taking that one after all and my price is back to $414.

Oh well--it was fun while it lasted :)
