Buy my own groceries question

Hi All - We are gearing up for our 3rd COVID reschedule trip in June! We are staying at Yacht Club, and I have a private driver to take us from MCO to the resort. They include a free grocery store stop on the way. If I buy my own groceries, will the resort store them with out luggage until the room is ready? TIA!

Yes, they will refrigerate cold items. You may want to have those items placed in separate bags from the shelf-stable items to make things easier.

I don't know if they do this in Florida, but if you can get the packed paper AND plastic , that would be good. I had a walmart shop that I met the driver and at least 10% of the bags had rips in them. I'd hate to turn my groceries to bellservice and as they put them on the shelf, bag tears and falls all over. I would at least double bag with plastic. Maybe stuff a few plastic bags in your carry on, so you can double bag the groceries if the store won't allow it.
