Hi, all. After testing the waters and selling a few items on eBay several months ago (btw, thanks again to all of you who answered my questions), I decided to really focus on getting stuff listed and keeping auctions going. I've had my first question from a prospective buyer tonight, and I'd like to know the proper procedure.
The person has asked if I would be willing to add a "buy it now" for x amount of dollars as no one has yet bid on the item (in fact, it looks as if she is the only one who has viewed the auction). The price she is proposing is acceptable; I wouldn't be making a big profit, but it would be more than I have now!
My question is: do I go ahead and revise the listing to add the "buy it now" and then e-mail this person, or should I let her know I am willing to accept her offer and then modify the listing?
I know this is probably a dumb question and I know I over-analyze everything (I just don't want to make mistakes so early in the game!).
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks so much!
Delaney
P.S. I love these boards!
