The rooms look beautiful! It looks as if all that is separating you from the animals is the glass door? So if you are on the first floor, you cannot use the patio, obviously?

The pics you see out the windows are "mock up" posters. The rooms are models located at SSR, in the theater.

There won't actually BE any first floor rooms in the new construction...at least none that face the savannah. Rooms will likely start on the 2nd story (at least that's the way the current lodge is set up). All rooms, in the existing lodge, have balconies and I'm assuming that will hold true for the new construction, too.

Owners can book on May 16th.

The rumor is non-owners are supposed to be able to book on June 6th, but you may want to check with either your guide or MS to confirm that date.
