Buy Disney GC with a VISA rebate card?

I have $300 on two VISA prepaid cards that I received from ATT for switching from Cox Cable. Can I use them to buy Disney GCs at Target or anywhere? The cards are supposed to be good anywhere but has anyone actually done this before? The rebate cards expire the end of April but i am planning on going to Disney earlier in April but may have to postpone. I would rather the money be tied up for Disney than expire.

I have purchased Disney gift cards at Target using prepaid Visa cards that I received through rebate programs without any trouble.

You can use the Visa gift cards almost anywhere to buy almost anything. Why would you need to let them expire?

Thanks for the responses. I don't know why, but I am just a little paranoid I guess.

I don't see what there is to be paranoid about, but if that's the case then you should try to use up the money as soon as possible and not store it on a gift card for use at a future date. If you lose your Disney gift card then the money is gone forever. Just spend it on your weekly groceries or whatever.
