Buy AP at gate or online- pros and cons?

Hi there we will be purchasing APs for our upcoming trip in early Dec, then use them for 2 trips afterwards as well.
Are there any cons to buying them at the gate? Just trying to budget, and see if I want to go ahead and buy them now and pick up or just buy them when I go there. Thanks!
(Still hoping there might be some info on Volcano Bay and APs coming out before we go but idk..)

No difference. You still have to pick them up at the ticket booth, I believe.
