I also posted on the resort discount board, but haven't gotten any response - thought this might be a better place to post my question. :)

Does anyone know if we would be able to get either the Buy 4 get 3, Buy 5 get 2 free or the Disney Visa 40% discount in January for a Premium campsite at FW?

Thanks! :goodvibes

Sadly no - campsites are generally excluded from these types of promos (and free dining). You can use them at the cabins, but not campsites.

Campsites are eligible for AP and AAA discounted rates when available.

ETA: Not sure about the Disney Visa discount. Might be worth a call to check that one.

Thanks so much for the quick reply - that does really stink! LOL With the premium campsites being only $10 cheaper than POP Century per night, you would think they would be eligible for some discounts. I guess we'll be looking at our other options. Thanks again! :goodvibes

I just edited my previous reply... I missed the Visa part in your original post. Not sure if campsites are eligible for that discount. Since you're not getting anything "free" they might be. Definitely worth checking out - good luck!

Disney Visa discount also only applies to cabins, not campsites.. I know, it stinks!

Now mind you, I don't agree with this policy, but, the reason no packages apply to the campsites is, you can put up to 10 people on a campsite. You can only put 4 in a value resort & 6 in a cabin. Gasp!!!! Disney might actually only make $20/nite on a site if they offered the dining package with campsite!! Perish the thought!

Thanks for all the great info - is it safe to assume a FL resident discount also wouldn't apply to the campsites then? :)

They do offer Fla Resident AP discounts, but only certain times of the year. I often do better with a AAA discount.

No...we continue to be the red headed step children. :sad2:

Apparently those coveted "pins" that offer discounts to guests from time to time aren't usable at the campground either. After going to Disney for years (our first visit was 1971) we finally got a "pin" offer. We called to redeem it at the Fort and were told that Fort wilderness isn't eligible.

Thanks again for all the great info - I haven't stayed at FW in years, but grew up camping there with my family. They are considering a trip in January to FW (that I'd be joining them on :thumbsup2) It's just crazy to me that with the 40% Disney Visa discount we could stay at POP Century for $220 less than a week at a campsite at FW. That's a week's worth of admission to the parks for one person. Pretty sure we'll still end up at FW, but just kinda crazy that they don't offer any discounts at all. :confused3
