Remember it's only single day tix. We used the deal for our first trip to the world and stayed in the yacht club. I just don't think we would have paid full price to stay there for 7 nights. But if we would have it woulda been worth it. Last year they announced the deal in mid december. I remember we found a deal at the contemporary and the next day when we were ready to book it was gone.

I really hope they come back out with this. I just had some friends go through this deal they receieved last year. I thought it was just the resort but it's your theme park tickets too!! They are staying at the Poly!! God, imagine that, staying at the Poly for a week with a weeks worth of tickets and only paying for 4 days worth..grr!

You know the difference between a 4 day ticket and a 7 day ticket is only about $9.

How does the 4/3 deal work for annual passholders? Any beter deals or is it one or the other?

You had to buy at least a 1 day ticket this year. For me 7 nights in a Poly GV room was WAY cheaper with 4/3 deal than AP. Rack rate was $355 and 4/3 was over 42% off or about $150/night and I think AP was under $100. The one day tickets don't expire until 14 days after 1st use and I didn't use them so I could use them in the future toward the renewal of my AP or to buy a new ticket.


ETA: I found my worksheet on my work computer from last January. I saved $442 on the 7 nights at Poly GV vs. AP rate. That more than covered the $150 I had to spend to purchase two 1 day base tickets PLUS I got the $200 gift card and those tickets to use in the future.

I grew up in WD and only moved away 3 years ago after I graduated college for a job up in MA. My parents still live there though and I was home for a few days in June. We live in the Greenfields region.

Yes-it went to early Aug-just before free dining but I don't remember if it included those dates when it was first announced or not.

Mousesavers.com doesn't show that it ever went into August, only that the booking window ended at the the end of June. When the 4/3 offer ended, there was a room-only discount and a package discount that came out for summer, and right now there is still an Aug/Sept room only discount available.

edited to say that I've seen where some folks are talking about having the 4/3 deal in later parts of the year, so I'm not sure if initially Disney allowed people to book them at any time of the year, or not.

The 4/3 offer was extended through August 15th. I booked our summer vacation as late as I possibly could using the deal--we were at the GF August 8-15.

I booked the 4/3 November 21st of last year to stay in march.. The best part of the deal was the added 200 dollar gift card... that increased the savings.. I hope if they do 4/3 again they add the 200 dollar card..

I booked our August, 2009 vacation using the buy 4/get 3 free promo. I booked it the day it came out. Our travel dates were 8/6 to 8/15. We originally booked Pop Century but then, just three weeks before we were to leave (and well after the promo had ended), I called Disney and practically begged them to let us upgrade to the CBR and still keep the deal. After three tries, I got it! Persistence paid off for me!

I definitely booked my August 4/3 deal sometime in Feb. I remember being upset that it only went thru June & when they extended it to August, I jumped on it!

Just can't remember what part of February it was, I think I booked it around the 20th.
