in the past, we've stayed at DLH and were given buttons there. Next time we go, staying off site. Celebrating a birthday and a first time in our group. Can we still get buttons at DLH or do you have to be a guest there? Seems like always a long line in the park for buttons. TIA!

During the first part of the day they sometimes have a GR cast member at City Hall with a basket or cart full of buttons. You do not have to wait in line to see them (unless there is a line for them specifically). The only ones you have to wait at GR for are the honorary DL citizen buttons as you usually have to answer a question for that.

We were given buttons by a CM in a ticket booth one year so you could try that if you can find one without a line. DS and I were also presented with "I'm Celebrating" buttons while buying Dole floats because the CM helping us saw DW's "Happy Birthday" button and figured we were celebrating with her so we should have buttons.

Thanks! Didn't know about that. What kind of cart?
It looks like an info cart with an umbrella over it. You can get buttons, maps, and accessibility info there. They once gave me fastpass for fantasy land rides too (my cute kid charmed them).

Nice! Never heard of those buttons

Great, thank you

Oldest DD and I were given the Honorary Citizen buttons randomly at Village Haus so they have those other places as well. We didn't ask or anything, the CM doing drinks and food pick up just thought DD was cute or something.

My DD got an Honorary Citizen button out by the ticket booths one day. I don't think she had to do anything for it, but she was wearing a princess dress, so that might have contributed.
