Anyone have this for just the butterscotch kind? Every recipie I have found has butterscotch and peanut butter. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS, in advance!

When my grandmother used to make these there was no such thing as PB chips. This is the recipe I use:
Chinese Noodle Cookies

1 package Peanut Butter Chips
1 package Butterscotch Chips (or skip PB & double butterscotch)
1 Can or bag of Chinese Noodles

Melt the chips, stir in the noodles & drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper. Let cool to harden.

I was really surprised to see recipes that call for shortening, even when using chips not peanut butter. I don't know why - they turn out fine the other way.

I just finished making these..used the recipe someone had posted on here which called for 12 ozs. peanuts, 25 ozs. chow mein noodles and 2 cups of butterscotch chips...now that I see yours, Piratesmate, using the peanut butter chips would have made a LOT more sense..mine said 'drop by teaspoon' onto wax paper and allow to cool..there was no way to fit these into a spoon..so I sprayed my hands and made small mounds of them!..too much work the other way..next time I will try yours!
