Butterbeer

This may be a silly question, but is there anything wrong with taking butterbeer out of the parks? We are going to stay a night at Sapphire Falls at the start of a week at Disney but not going into the parks, except DW has a few days before her AP from last year expires and she wants to ride Hulk (wish I could ride it too grrrrr) and buy a couple butterbeers for all of us to share. I know all things Potter have some funny rules but any problem with her taking a couple glasses of frozen butterbeer out to City Walk?

As they allow drinking in Citywalk, I doubt you would catch any flack for walking out of the park and into Citywalk with a non-alcoholic beverage. Citywalk to your car/shuttle should also be okay (if they don't prohibit drinks/food in general).

It won't be a problem, but they melt fairly quickly. I would have her get it after the sun sets so it is less hot, and be waiting for her just outside the gate so you can enjoy it before it becomes regular butterbeer

Instead of a frozen butterbeer. Buy the regular or warm one

The only problem is that it's not going to make it.

I disagree with Mac b/c a "cold" (the liquid one) butterbeer's topping gets REALLY weird if you don't drink it fast enough. That's a big reason DS doesn't get cold anymore (he has moved to the right side of liking frozen LOL), because he doesn't gulp it, and it gets gross after a bit.

The frozen will start to melt.

Not sure how the hot would survive.


For me, butterbeer is something for people going to the parks, LOL.

Oh, and also, I'd totally drink the butterbeer along the way. Not on purpose, but it would just happen.

I always get the cold bb and stir the white topping and mix it into the bb


For me, I prefer the taste when the topping is completely mixed into the drink and gives it a creamy taste

Exactly how I drink it as well. Mix the topping in, nomnomnom.
However, did I not see that they sold butterbeer in a bottle or was I just dreaming that? If I wasn't on a BB high and did really see this maybe that would be your answer. She could bring out a dozen and you could have them later.

Maybe I only saw bottled pumpkin juice. I could have been in a Hogwarts daze, I was in awe of the place. Sorry.

I don't know why it is, but we have tried the cold and didn't like the taste. If memory serves me correctly, the Potter stuff in the Universal side is a little closer to the exit than the IOA side. She will just have to walk really fast before it melts
