It was our first family trip & I have to say that it was wonderful. We didn't know anything about staying onsite and ended up at a yucky offsite hotel but it didn't matter. We were hardly there.
She loved those little spraying fountains, made us ride IASW over & over again
and had an absolute blast meeting the characters. The pictures are a treasure.
She remembers some of the trip now (at 7yrs). She didn't like the animatronic dino's in EPCOT & will still avoid them. She loves the spinning tea cups & has talked about them ever since. We truly did have a magical time.
We are hopefully be going back sometime between now & July 2004 & will be bringing our DS who will be 2 in Nov. I think he will love it and we plan to take tons of pictures to preserve the memory for him & us.
I agree that an infant is a lot of work but if you love to go to Disney, then go no matter what age your children are. You are entitled to have fun, too. It's not just all about the kids.

WDW through the eyes of a toddler is a wonderful experience. After we got back, our little one would look at our pictures and sing "Hoop de doo, Hoop de doo" "Yo ho, Yo ho" and she always talks about seeing the castle and "Small World". They remember a lot more than people think. You never know what will happen tomorrow-go and have a magical time
