Busy the last week of August?

We are planning a trip to WDW for the last week of August. Is it typically very busy that last week of August (I thought that most of the American school's were back in class by then) ?? Thanks for the help.

When we went the last week it was great because it wasn't too busy however it was very, very hot. We really had to plan our days to ensure that we got a break at the pool in the afternoon and able to get into the airconditioned shows for breaks.

It was a little hectic getting back and back to school after labour day, but in comparison to when we went in early March I would prefer the hot weather to rain.

I was there once during that time.
from waht i remebr there were a lot of overseas tour groups
but it is not as bad as weeks before by far.......

We went August 27 to September 7 in 2003. It was brutally hot, rained every day for an hour or so, but who cares, you are in Disney! Seriously, though, the parks weren't bad on Thursday and Friday, MK was horrible on Saturday, but things settled right down on Sunday by Monday (Labor Day here in the states) it was great. We went on every ride with no line, and had a blast that week.
