Busy day of the week

We are considering checking in on a Saturday during Easter week. Because of grandchildren having to take vacation that week we cant change the dates.I have read somewhere(can't remember where) that this is the busiest day of the week to check in. We have the option of checking in on a Friday if that isn't as busy.Would appreciate any advise.

I wouldn't worry about checking in on a day that might be busier than another.

If management anticipates that it is going to busy, it is likely that they will have all the check in lanes open and staffed. I have arrived on such days, and despite being busy, we breezed through the check-in.

On the other hand, if management thinks it is not going to be busy, they may only open and staff one or two of the check-in lanes. You could arrive on an un-busy day, but be stuck in line because you arrived after just a couple of other folks. I've also been there and done that.

You never know what you are going to find at check-in.

If you want to check-in on a Saturday, go right ahead and do that. I wouldn't try to second guess this.

We've arrived on Saturday (right around 1:00, no less) on the Saturday before Easter more than once, and we've never had a long wait. I wouldn't worry about it, and I certainly wouldn't make my plans around a potential wait at check-in.
