busy but not, but then again crazy!

Arrived the 10th and started our trip at EPCOT shocked at the calm uncrowded vibe! Walked around without being shoulder to shoulder! Soaring was a 30 min wait. We had Fp for TT and standby there was 45. Everything else was posted 10 min. We had dinner reservations and the park was open with EMH until 11:30. Oddly as we were leaving around 10:30 the bridge was up by China and a large crowd was stuck so our egress was impacted by this large group all heading toward the busses On Friday we attempted HS since my CM DD had a "green" day for HS....we were turned away from parking at 3:30 we drove to our resort and got the bus... The lights were fabulous but it was wall to wall humanity! Watch your ankles! Mad stroller drivers and ECV drivers! They really shouldn't let strollers in. Too crowded, everyone's looking up.... Recipie for disaster! Since my family is gluttons for punishment we left and went to Disney Springs for dinner. More crowds! Unpleasant but it was Friday! Trying AK today.....

Funny how Disney Springs can turn into a madhouse. You think "let's get away from the parks for a while and chill at DS"....WRONG! I haven't spent much time at DS since all the new shops and restaurants opened. Not sure if that's going to make the crowds better or worse. It'll be more spread out, but more guests will want to check it out.

Makes me definitely not question our decision to skip MGM and go back to Trader Sam's for drinks this past Sunday. They closed parking before noon, apparently, and Christmas lights don't mean enough to me to bother getting in all that mess.

of all the parks on this past trip (we didn't do MK) EPCOT and AK were pretty "low-ish" crowds. But HS was a hot mess! The day we went we had FP+ for Toy Story at 7pm! Went to the new Launch Bay, wait for Chewy (45) Vader (30). Got in line for Vader. It is slow moving - He Talks!!! after that we road TS and then went through the horrible gauntlet of Lights....

Ugh - I feel your pain. We were at HS then went to Disney Springs on a Friday night (12/4)...we got herded through the lights like cattle. Got to Disney Springs and it was a crowded, loud, chaotic, annoying mess. The most miserable night of our trip!

I'm never going to DS again on weekend night. The current design and construction has the portion down to a "narrow" walkway. It's just crowds wandering without purpose... ug.

Friday night at DHS was a hot mess! Getting out of DHS was also a hot mess because busses couldn't get in to pick people up. The lights were pretty fantastic though. We had a great time Dec 7-13 and can't wait until April to go back again. We got to meet Darth Vader at the Visa meet and greet in the Launch Bay...that was pretty cool...really good interaction.
