Busiest day at MK

What day of the week is generally the busiest at MK?

I don't know how accurate the following information is but I got it off www.allearsnet.com. Here it is: According to ALLEARS, MK is busiest on Monday, Thursday, and on Saturday.

Any day that has EMH.

Saturdays are horrid.

I've found that weekends and Mondays are the busiest. Plus any day there is an EMH for MK.

Saturday, but not always. MK was the recommended park for Memorial Day weekend (Saturday), and it was great. So time of the year, EMH patterns, holidays, special groups, etc, do largely affect crowd patterns.

I find Monday crowded no matter what time of year I go. We took a late February trip one year and figured we would be ok at MK on Monday since crowds were so low that week. Wrong! Lines were 20 or more minutes for the popular rides. The rest of the vacation was walk on.

I agree that Mondays and Saturdays.

"They" used to say that Mondays because of folks arriving on Sunday and beginning their vacations at MK on Monday. And Saturdays because locals visit then.

And we have always avoided the park that is EMH and before that early entry. We have never been sorry avoiding them.

Sunday used to be a quiet MK day....a travel day for lots of folks. But I haven't tried it myself in awhile......

Boomer!! In my 8 days vacation, I choosed Monday and Saturday to go to MK! I read on touringplans.com that Saturday was OK, and initially I choosed Tuesday, but there was no Spectromagic that day and I couldn't allowed it!
And I already have my ADR's for those days... oh well.

I guess it depends on what time of the year you go...we take a lot of weekend trips because we live 3 hours away but we go in October, Dec, April etc....

We have been to MK on Saturdays before and have found it tolerable but we have not been there on an EMH day

My birthday is on 12/9 which is a Saturday and I really wanted to spend it watching Christmas Wishes....Maybe in early December it won't be so crowded?? :Wishful Thinking: We are also going on Thursday for MCMCP!

2 years ago, I arrived on a Saturday that was 2 weeks before Easter, Peak Season with all the spring breakers. We arrived at the park around lunch time and got to do quite a bit, most of Tomorrowland, HM, TSI all before dinner time. So you may be ok on a Saturday .

Don't panic, we did this last year, and went on a Saturday. We did breakfast in the Park, so were there rope drop at Fantasyland. We did all of Fantasyland in an hour, and that was with riding PP and a few others twice! We did the entire park that day! We didn't have to wait long for anything. We used fast passes and had a blast! We were even able to get a walk in to LTT for lunch.
