What's up with all of the posts trying to prove that Kerry cheats at debates, troops support Bush, all posts that suggest Kerry is in the lead are biased, etc, etc. Sounds like you are in a little bit of a panic. What are you worried about? Bush has it in the bag. Right?

Just seems like Bush supporters are trying to prove something. Or are they just afraid?

I think there are elements on both sides that do this and the same can be said for the Kerry supporters.

What's up with the title of this post? Hmm, calling Bush supporters in to mock is a very mature thing to do. Anyone who has been following the discussions certainly knows who supports whom but perhaps with your tricky title you can snare a few unsuspecting souls and feel good about getting in a few slaps.

I can only pray for the sake of this country that Bush has it in the bag.

well, if you actually look at the polling data, you would, AND if you were able to actually comprehend it, see that the Newsweek poll WAS biased.

Not trying to "slap" anyone or be tricky. Just looking for an answer. Some Kerry supporters do this, but it is mostly Bush supporters I see trying so hard to prove Bush is great.

I agree with Mermaid02 that this is common behavior from either side. I was listening to the Al Franken Show this morning and one comment that was made stuck in my mind. Too often politics today is not so much about making your candidate look good as it is about making the opponent look bad. Both sides are just as guilty of this during the current campaign.

I guess so. They are just overly defensive. They seem to think Bush is a sure bet, but they are treating Kerry like he is a huge threat to Republican victory.

I agree those people are over the top. I'm talking mainly here on the Dis. Most people on the Dis were outraged by all of the above people. Look at the thread titles. Most are about trying to prove Bush is in the lead, etc.

It's sad that people actually support the man who is ruining our country and risking American soldiers lives just so he could save face after 9/11 and divert the country's attention away from the ill he has done to our economy, education... Ask any teacher how wonderful the "No Child Left Behind Act" is. It is a bad joke. Sounds good until you research the facts and see it is phony just like everything else this administration has done. God help us all if he gets another 4 years. And of course the troops say they support Bush. Who wants to admit they have wasted all this time and energy fighting a war that never should have existed? Ask them when they get home. I know many families of soldiers in Iraq and they do NOT agree with George Bush.

When Bush had a big boost after the RNC, there were many many anti-Bush threads going here, much more than pro-Bush threads.

Ask any teacher how wonderful the "No Child Left Behind Act" is.

I don't have to ask...I am one and I can tell you that the effects are miserable. It sounds good if you don't dig too deep.....then again, that pretty much sums up Bush's entire Presidency.
