We all ahve different opinions. I am proud to live in a country where we could each voice our own. And the bottom line is that my opinion is that Bush does not know what he was and is doing in Iraq and has no safe plan to get out. Meanwhile we are in the biggest deficit in US hhistory. I just think it is time for a change and Kerry is the man to lead us.

thats not true. ppl really need to stop quoting stuff they read in chain letters in emails.

what IS true, and u can fact-check this is:

kerry voted 98 times against tax cuts in congress.
edwards missed approx 70% of senate intelligence meetings.
kerry voted against the 1991 gulf war. kerry voted for the current war in iraq. kerry voted against funding the 87billion supplemental for the current war in iraq. kerry now says this is "the wrong war at the wrong place at the wrong time." kerry also said he would have all US troops out in 6 months time. thats a problem and sounds like an empty promise to me. kerry says america needs to pass a global test before taking a pre emptive strike. kerry says he wants more allies (france and germany) to join the coalition in iraq, even though both france and germany have clearly stated that they will never be sending troops to iraq, no matter who the president is. hmm what else... kerry agrees with bush in stating that hes against gay marriage, but he believes its a states rights issue, rather than a national consitutional issue.. Yet he voted against the defense of marriage act in 1998 signed by clinton with made gay marraige a states rights issue by overriding article 4 of the constitution (full faith and credit)... look, the list goes on and on.. im just going off the top of my head here. im a political science student-- these are the facts i read and watch every day. bottom line- i know facts. this is NOT the largest defecit in US history.. economists look at defecit with respect to our GDP. according to that, our defecit is 4.5% of our totaly economic output as a country. our country had a larger percentage defecit under ronald reagan... if you dont believe me, im sure u can read about it somewhere.. perhaps factcheck.org or something

-The economy is terrible? News to me! Bush inherited a recession and had 9/11 and the destruction of the World Trade Center. The US lost over a million jobs in the month following 9/11, yeah that was Bush's fault. Bush in fact turned a recession around faster than any President in American history. Home ownership has grown to the highest level in the history of the United States. The stock market boom of the 90s busted because the tech stocks that weren't worth the paper they were printed on dropped to their real value, yet somehow the dow is still over 10,000. This is the Democrats weakest argument of all, the fact is what Bush has done with this economy is nothing short of AMAZING.

But the fact is this is not a war of necessity...Operation Iraqi Freedom is nothing but an unwanted forceful push of our freedom on another nation. The war on terror has created terrorists, not stopped them. Afghanistan is one thing...Iraq is another. This is just an issue of a little boy doing what daddy would have wanted. Think of Pearl Harbor...we then attacked Japan--the people who bombed us. 9/11-we attacked Afghanistan...Reb. and Dem. alike were all for this, but using 9/11 as an excuse to go into Iraq made the world hate us. The world was with us on 9/12--where are they now?

I love that word believe. Is it not true that we all believed there were WMDs--Bush made us believe that and why? Because intelligence told him to do so. I don't want a president who does something just because someone told him to. What do they tell you when you're little--if someone told you to jump of a bridge would you do it? I guess one little boy didn't learn his lesson.
