Sorry must have missed that as I was too busy reading EVERYONE crying and whining that they are right and everyone else is wrong and nobody on this board is too have a opinion that does not agree with them or god (whoops, going to get yelled at for using God) forbids uses a word that we all know what the author is trying to say to make fun of them. Did anybody read that this is the "just for fun" board and it is a "discussion board" not a you don't know nothing and I am always right board???

So how do you measure whether or not the war on terror is a success?

I guess I don't, in those terms. Success or failure, black or white. I expect some successes, some failures, some benefits, some unforeseen drawbacks...I don't think we had a choice but to wage a "war" on terror. We can still disagree on methods used from now til the end of time.

In other words, he's a brutal, psychotic dictator in that he uses and abuses state power and not socially antinomian guerrilla tactics. Therefore, he's not a terrorist.

But anyway, oh how we've drifted from the topic at hand! Would you sanction the blatant fabrication of false reasons for launching a pre-emptive war?

Is "psychotic" the word you use for any mass murdering thug you hate? Seems unfair to people with real psychoses. No I don't sanction fabrication, but I do agree with just about every reason mentioned for war in Iraq thus far; it's the "pre-emptive war" sidebar issues that I normally don't agree with. As in, we were already at war. With Iraq. So was damn near everyone else. Pick a reason, pick any crime in the book...Saddam was innocent of nothing. Anyone giving the impression that World Peace suffered a setback via US invasion of Iraq imo should be accused of "blatant fabrication" and socially antinomian tactics. Sheesh.

First, Bush has stated on several occasions that the decision to go to war in Iraq was not made until 2003 and that the reason for this war was WMD. Both of these statements are false and misleading in that the decision was made much earlier and that the real reason was not WMD.

I've been saving (planning) for a new car for the last couple of years and I've been telling people in the last year that I going to buy one. I finally decided to get one and bought it last week.
