Bush Clan on 12/26 Wonder

Hi, We just returned from the 12/19 Wonder 3 Day. Read in Florida Today that Gov Jeb Bush and several members of his family, including George Bush Sr. and Barbara will be on board the 12/26 cruise. Should make for some interesting posts on what interaction they have with everyone on the cruise. For anyone interested, we had great weather. 77 degrees and lots of sunshine in both Nassau and Castaway Cay. Not too many people were in the water at Castaway Cay, but I didn't think it was really that cold. Didn't notice too much emphasis on sanatizing the boat in the wake of Norwalk outbreaks. Did get asked if anyone in my party was sick before getting on the ship, received a handout stressing handwashing, and had crew members stationed outside of the restraunts handing out hand wipes and encouraging folks to clean their hands before dinner. Didn't see or hear of a single sick person. Overall Cruise was every bit as much fun as our two Magic outings. Christmas Decorations were really nice.

Thanks for the update. Yes, we're travelling with the Bushes for the holidays! My first reaction was Oh, NO! But now we're kind of getting excited. We probably won't bump into them as we're down on deck 2 (my husband likes to refer to our cabin as "steerage"), but you never know. If we hit the Powerball numbers, we may have to switch cabins with them! I'll let you know how it was when we get home.

This will have to be my last post before we leave, so I would like to thank everyone for all their help in planning this trip. I really picked up some useful info and it was a lot of fun planning. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and safe and happy New Year! Mickey, here we come.....

my boss will be on this cruise, and I told him Friday that the Bush Family would be on this one. He sure was surprised when i told him...

They mentioned the cruise tonight on FOX news. The broadcaster seemed to chuckle a little bit when he said it. I wonder why they found it so surprising. He actually ended the statement with "I'm not kidding"
