President Bush's "approval rating" has sunk to a new low according to a USA TODAY/CNN/Gallup poll released Monday.

The latest results show only 36% of those polled saying they "approve" of the way Bush is handling his job. Bush's previous low was 37%, set last November.

Sixty percent of those polled said they "disapprove" of Bush's performance. That matches an all-time worst rating hit last November and again two weeks ago.

Democrats have their biggest advantage since 1992 when poll respondents are asked if they favor Democratic or Republican congressional candidates. The spread: Democrats over Republicans 55% — 39%, a 16-percentage-point gap.

Now the reality of voting on one issue or what your church told you to do is evident.
So when will those folks that makeup the 36% wakeup and smell the coffee instead of continuing to drink the Koolaid. Today, he is still telling us to be patient. Fool you once, twice...

Considering that Ronald Reagan's approval ratings were at 35% at one point, Clinton's at 37%, I say, "so what"? Considering the fact that he takes an undeserved and unprecedented pounding from the press on an hourly basis, I think he is doing well at 36%. He doesn't care about polls, he cares about the American people.

how about we just impeach him and get it over with...he is a disgrace!

Impeach him for what? Because you don't like him? :rotfl2:

1 a : to bring an accusation against b : to charge with a crime or misdemeanor; specifically : to charge (a public official) before a competent tribunal with misconduct in office

2 : to cast doubt on; especially : to challenge the credibility or validity of

3 : to remove from office especially for misconduct

PICK ONE. :thumbsup2

I hate to be the one to break it to you but your "charges" have to be based in some semblance of reality. :rotfl2:

What are his accomplishments:

Lied about Weapons of Mass Destruction
Got 2 conservatives on the SC
Illegal wiretapping
Run up the largest national debt
Was surprised that the levies would brake in New Orleans
and....

Illegal wiretapping for one :woohoo:

Again, the operative word is "reality". Were you that disturbed when Clinton employed Echelon to eaves drop on everybody and not just terrorists? :rotfl2:

It's a shame that they don't care about him. All I can say when that magic final day comes is buh bye and welcome back to Texas. Sigh...

If he does nothing else the bold one is enough for me!! ;) Now all he has to do is lie in front of a grand jury and fornicate in the white house and he'll be as good a president as our former!

It's all very interesting:

Rich::

He's got plenty of time to hit an all time low for a new US record. Unfortuately, we have two and a half more years of this Tax and Steal Administration.

If you want to change the course of government give close consideration to the person you'll be voting for in November!!!

I am NOT saying vote Democratic, that would be the kind of knee jerk response that got us where we are to day. But DO vote for the person who:

Gives you a rational long term plan for getting the economy on solid footing. Has a multi-prong plan of attack to reduce our consumption of petroleum. Has a plan you can live with when it comes to Iraq.
Actually believes something has to be done about illegal immigration.
Recognizes that there is a looming problem with private pension plans.
Believes in the rights of individuals.

And please DONT vote for somebody based upon amorphous, unlikely moral grounds like gay marriage.

There are plenty of people in both parties who will do the job right for you in congress. Before you vote for your incumbent check out his (or her) track record on the problems that we have today. Bush is a lame duck...your congressman is the one with the power now...and he/she is the one you have the power to change come November. Sad to say a big chunk of that 60% wont vote and the ones that do will vote for the incumbent without checking them out.

Hmmm....fornicating in the white house?? I think every president that has ever lived there did that one. Most of them with their wives, and most of them not. And you want an honest politician?? Read a novel :) There are not many of them that tell the truth 100% of the time. And having a grand jury because a man had sex with a women that wasn't his wife was such a WASTE of the taxpayers money. It was a disgrace...and not on our former Presidents part. His fornication was/is his wifes problem, not ours. All I know is when our former president was in office, the economy was doing well...and jobs were plentiful. Jobs have been hard to come by and hold onto since our current president was in office. And I also don't remember gas prices being this high during our former president's adminsitration. And ya know what...every president before our current one has aged and looked very tired during their adminstrations... don't notice it with this one. Guess he is getting alot of rest while someone else is running our country.

Ya know... I don't thnk Bush cares if his so-called approval rating drops to 10%. And I say "good for him". You know what the hilarious thing is? The Dems will still never win a majority in either house of congress, and no way Hilary will be elected in 2008. So all the rumbling about poll numbers amount to nothing. JMO
